DETROIT (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Hourly workers at General Motors could get large profit-sharing checks based on 2010 earnings.
According to an article in “the Detroit News," the checks could be among the largest ever, perhaps more than $1,800.
The exact amount could be released as early as next week.
Last week, Chrysler announced bonuses of $750 and up to $5,000 for Ford employees.
The GM profit-sharing checks are expected to set the tone for this summer's contract talks.
GM had made $4.2 billion in profits as of September.
