TUCSON, AZ. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Arizona Congresswoman, Gabrielle Giffords, is recovering so quickly her doctors say she may be able to travel to Florida to watch her husband's shuttle launch, next month.

Doctors said in the month since she arrived at her rehabilitation center, she's gone from mouthing words to speaking sentences, even walking with assistance.

Giffords was shot in the head January 8th during a political event in Tucson.

Six people were killed and 12 others wounded. The suspect, 22 year old Jared Loughner, pleaded not guilty in federal court to dozens of charges.
