Gas City Woman Found Dead

GAS CITY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Police find a Gas City woman dead in her home.

In Gas City, 28-year-old Ashley Rheam was found dead inside her home.

Police were called to 107 E. N. A Street around 5:40 Saturday morning after Rheam discovered that her house had been broken into. She said her back door was kicked in and that some electronic items were missing. Officials took a report and cleared the house, but found no intruders.

Police were called back to the house around 10:40 this morning, after Rheam's roomate found her body.

Officials believe this to be a homicide, but an autopsy will determine an exact cause.

Detectives also believe the suspect stole Rheam's white 1993 Cadillac Eldorado after the incident. The vehicle was found around 8:00 Saturday evening. It was towed to the Peru State Police post.
