Giffords Now Knows Shooting Details

NBC - Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords now knows who was killed in the shooting rampage critically injuring her in January.

Giffords was given the information just days before her surprise appearance on the house floor August 1.

The victims include Giffords' aide, Gabe Zimmerman, close friend and U.S. District Court Judge John Roll, as well as 9-year-old Christina Taylor Green.

Giffords husband, Mark Kelly said in June that Giffords knew how many people were killed but not their names. Her loved ones were withholding the information until she was strong enough to handle it.

A gunman shot Giffords in the head while she was meeting constituents in Tucson in January.
