INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The federal health care reform law is expected to cost the Hoosier state more than first thought.
That’s according to Family and Social Services Administration Secretary Anne Murphy and acting Insurance Commissioner Stephen Robertson who wrote a letter to Governor Mitch Daniels estimating the overhaul will now cost Indiana at least $3.16 billion over the next ten years.
The new estimates are $235 million higher that a previous estimate in may.
