Health Care Reform Costing Hoosiers Less Than Projected

INDIANA (Indiana's NewsCenter) - The federal health care overhaul is expected to cost Indiana residents less then what was first predicted.

New estimates say the reform is expected to cost $2.6 billion over the next decade. That’s about one billion less than an initial projection made last spring.

A representative from the actuarial consulting firm told the state's Medicaid Oversight Commission that new information provided by the federal government will drop the possible cost an additional $330 million.
