ATLANTA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Federal Appeals Court in Atlanta has struck down a portion of the Federal Health Care Law that mandates that individuals buy health insurance or face a penalty.
Indiana was one of 26 states fighting the mandate which the court found "unconstitutional."
Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller issued the following statement:
"This ruling on the states' respectful challenge brings the case one-step closer to the United States Supreme Court where ultimately this needs to be decided."
