Have you ever wondered what it was like to live in the 18th and 19th centuries? People had the opportunity to travel back in time and learn about that today.

The Historical Trade Fair took place today at the Allen County Fairgrounds. From colonial days to cowboy days, the fair featured all kinds of tools and weapons people used hundreds of years ago.

Tomahawks and different kinds of knives were on display, as well as different kinds of leather goods. Vendors showed visitors how to set animal traps, seta fire with flint and steel, and even how to skin a deer. Women showed off their skills by spinning wool and weaving rugs.

To help the community, money from the Historical Trade Fair will benefit the Allen County Fairgrounds.
