OHIO (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The homeless man who has become a media sensation is on his way to rehab.

Ted Williams has agreed to enter rehab to fight his battle with drug and alcohol addiction, according to People Magazine.

Williams found fame because of his golden voice, and says TV Psychologist Doctor Phil McGraw was influential in his decision to enter rehab.

He admitted to Doctor Phil Wednesday that he has relapsed and was struggling with alcohol addiction.

Williams also says he has been overwhelmed by all of the offers he is getting and needs help dealing with trying to forgive himself for his past failings.

In interviews last week, Williams said he had been sober for two years after struggling with alcohol and crack cocaine addiction.

Thursday night on the Dr. Phil show you can see how this story unfolds at 7 pm on NBC33 .
