Homicide Victim Died from Blunt Force Trauma to the Head

Fort Wayne, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Fort Wayne police are investigating the city's latest homicide.

31-year-old James Gavura was in a fight the evening of June 30th.

He was found dead at an apartment in the 5500 block of River Run Trail the next morning.

The Allen County Coroner ruled he died from blunt force head trauma, after falling and hitting his head on the ground during the argument.

Gavura is the 20th homicide victim of the year in Allen County.
