Hoosier Voters Back Funding College Student Aid

INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Hoosier voters are in overwhelming support of the state continuing to fund financial aid programs for students heading to college.

According a recent study, 87-percent of Hoosiers support students borrowing money from the State Student Assistance Commission.

75-percent of the 500 people polled said they are satisfied with Indiana’s "strong education" standards.

Overall, Indiana’s independent colleges and universities have a total economic impact to the state of four billion dollars and employ more than 20,000 people.
