URBANA, Illinois (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - As the Democrats remain hunkered down in a hotel in Urbana, Illinois there is a glimmer of hope that the stalemate may be nearing to an end.
House Minority Leader Pat Bauer says he is considering returning to the Statehouse Wednesday to negotiate with House Speaker Brian Bosma.
Minority Leader Bauer says, “Everything is day to day, I said I would go there. I did say that. So a road trip to Indianapolis tomorrow? Only if he is willing to negotiate and that's what we are working on.”
Bauer began toning down his rhetoric against Bosma a day after another Democratic house member, called the speaker a "windbag" and said he has no concept of negotiation.
