Indiana In Desperate Need of Some Rain

Indiana (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – The Hoosier state needs a good, drenching rain.

According to a new federal report, nearly a quarter of Indiana is now experiencing extreme drought conditions. This could make this June the driest on record.

The new U.S. drought monitor map released Thursday morning shows counties in the Evansville area and much of the area between Fort Wayne and South Bend with the driest conditions.

According to the national weather service, Fort Wayne only received .25 inches of rain so far for June.
