INDIANA (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The legislature's interim study committee on employment is recommending that state lawmakers approve right to work legislation when they reconvene in January.
You may recall that the issue of right to work was introduced in the Indiana House during the past session. This caused the House Democrats to protest over a five week period while held up in an Illinois hotel.
Right to work states prohibit the practice of requiring union membership as a condition of employment.
