Initial Court Appearance For Shwe

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - 46-year-old Nyunt Shwe appeared in court Monday morning for his initial appearance on a preliminary charge of aggravated battery for the homicide of a Burmese man late last week.

Shwe was arrested early Saturday, hours after 43-year-old Aung Win was found dead at the Brendonwood Park Apartments on Fayette Drive Friday afternoon.

Win's death has been ruled a homicide, but the cause of death is still being investigated.
