JAPAN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Officials with the US Department of Energy said, Tuesday, the damaged nuclear facility in Japan is entering a "slow recovery" stage.
The US is offering advice and assistance to Japanese officials and has sent people and equipment overseas.
Also, a nuclear regulatory commission expert told committee members that the US has "no reason for concern" about radioactive releases reaching our coast.
Thailand has reported finding traces of radioactive material in shipments of Japanese potatoes.
