CHICAGO, Ill. (www.incnow.tv) – Former Congressman Jesse Jackson Junior and his wife will appear in court Wednesday to answer criminal charges.
Jackson and his wife Sandra will each enter a plea in two separate hearings. Both made deals with federal prosecutors for allegedly scheming to spend $750,000 of campaign funds on personal items. Jackson Jr. is charged with conspiracy; Sandra Jackson is charged with one count of filing false joint federal income tax returns from 2006 through 2011.
The same judge will conduct both hearings and will likely set a date for sentencing.
