Kids In Junior Achievement's BizTown Learn to Avoid Scams

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Teaching the importance of avoiding scams is happening earlier than ever.

With the help of Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson, kids in Junior Achievement's BizTown were offered the chance to invest with the promise of doubling their money earlier this week.

On Wednesday, the young investors found out that the opportunity was a mock scam and learned how to protect themselves in the future.
