GENEVA (www.incnow.tv) – Cyclist Lance Armstrong has been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles and banned for life.
The cycling governing body made the announcement today following a report from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency accusing Armstrong of "leading a massive doping program on his team."
The organizers of the Tour de France will officially remove Armstrong's name from the record books. Armstrong had seven consecutive wins spanning from 1999 to 2005.
The International Cycling Union President, Pat McQuaid says "Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling and he deserves to be forgotten in cycling."
