We've entered the month of March, which means we're finally at the back end of those snowy winter months. But that also means winter-time activities are coming to an end.
A local spot for a fun winter activity, Headwaters Park Ice Rink, will close for the season tonight.
This year the park saw more than 22,000 people come to lace up their skates. Park officials say the up and down temperatures we saw this year was a huge obstacle for them.
But they've already began preparing for next year's skating season and hope to have a new and improved icer to maintain the ice sheet in warmer weather.
The park closes at 8 o'clock tonight.
