Lawson Sentenced for Murder Conviction

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne mother who killed her young child while performing an exorcism, then hiding his body for more than a year has been sentenced.

An Allen County judge sentenced Latisha Lawson to 62 years Friday morning.

A jury found Lawson guilty of murder back in May after she forced her then, two-year-old child to drink an oil and vinegar mixture in November of 2009, leading to his death.
