Leading Bidder for Twinkies: Little Debbie Maker (with Video)

UNDATED (www.incnow.tv) - We may soon find out who will become the Savior of America's favorite cream-filled cake.

Two private equity companies are closing in on a deal for the "Twinkies" name, they are Apollo Global Management and C Dean Metropoulos. The final deal is expected to be somewhere in the 400 million dollar range. Metropoulos most notably revived the "Pabst" beer band.

Meanwhile it appears "Little Debbie" maker McKee Foods may soon take over the Drake's Cakes brand which includes Devil Dogs, Funny Bones, and Yodels.
