Liquor Store Fire Spreads and Damages Apartments Above

Monroeville, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – Firefighters were on the scene of a downtown fire in Monroeville early Tuesday morning.

Investigators believe the fire started in the lower level of Monroeville Liquors, located near the corner of State Road 101 and South Street. The fire spread to the business next door and upwards, damaging the apartments above.

The cause for the fire is still unknown.
