FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Blizzards help sweeten the beginning of summer for one area man and his family.

Dairy Queen Officials presented Robbie Sondag of Fort Wayne keys to a new Mini Cooper as one winner of the company's online video contest.

Sondag joins five other winners from across the country whose videos about their love for Dairy Queen received the most votes on the DQ Facebook page.

Sondag says the grand prize is all thanks to tons of social networking and community support.

DQ Contest Winner Robbie Sondag says, “It became a social networking thing. How many votes you can get. How fast can this thing spread? ...Certainly we were campaigning for votes. But it wasn't hard because obviously we enjoyed the video and thought it was pretty good too. So when you have something you believe in like that, it's easy to get people to come and laugh at it.”

Sondag's winning entry features his failed attempts to give unsuspecting strangers mini blizzard treats.
