FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) – For those looking for a place to workout downtown, you now have a new option with Mad Apple Crossfit.

Mad Apple Crossfit held it’s grand opening Saturday morning.

The gym, or "box” as it's called, is located on the second floor of the Lamplight Inn, 300 E Washington Blvd.

It includes a multi-purpose room with weights, gym equipment, showers, and childcare.

The owners hope it can contribute to the revitalization of downtown Fort Wayne.

"We love downtown, you know, we've owned the building for about three and a half years and we've really bought in to the revitalization of downtown and it really made sense for us to put it here. We had the space and we wanted to utilize it,” said Bobby Petras, Owner.

Classes are available for beginners all the way to advanced athletes.
