FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- Fort Wayne Police believe they have arrested a person responsible for a shooting death that happened earlier this month.
Late Thursday afternoon, police told Indiana's NewsCenter that 37 year old A.C. James Jr. of Fort Wayne is being held in the Allen County Jail on a preliminary charge of aggravated battery.
Police say James shot and killed Kyree Ellis the evening of February 3rd at the intersection of East Paulding and Lafayette Street.
Surveillance camera's of a nearby gas station caught the image of a truck that James was allegedly in that night.
