Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne man is charged with two felonies after police say he battered a boy on Wednesday.
Court documents say 33-year-old Bryan Grinnell, III attacked a boy who's younger than-14, by banging his head against the stairs while holding his throat. The boy told police he tried to protect his head with his hands.
Grinnell is preliminarily charged with domestic battery in the presence of a minor and battery to a child younger than-14.
He reportedly stopped the attack when a woman yanked him away from the child.
A judge has issued a no-contact order for the woman and the boy.
Grinnell has a hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
