WELLS COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - An Ossian man charged in the July 22nd fatal shooting of a four-year-old boy is back in a Wells County courthouse, Monday.
46-year-old Bruce Pond is charged with murder after police say he shot little Jacob Michuda in the temple while the boy was fishing on a pier with his father.
Pond's lawyer has requested a change of venue for the trial. A judge will rule on that request October 28th.
If denied, Pond will go to trial beginning January 10th.
