One Dead in Paulding County Crash

Paulding County, Ohio (www.incnow.tv) - One man is dead following a two-car accident in Paulding County, Ohio.

The Paulding County Sheriff's Office responded to the intersection of US 24 and RD 115 in Emerald Township just after 1 p.m Sunday. The victim David Bakle, 72, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reports indicate that Bakle was driving his Chevy Silverado when we failed to yield the right of way to a westbound vehicle. Bakle was ejected from his car on impact.

The driver of the other vehicle Corrine Ehrhart, 36, and her 10 year old passenger Mallory Ehrhart were taken to a local hospital. Corrine's other passenger, 4 year old Maclaron Ehrhart, was flown by Samaritan Helicopter to a local hospital. At this time their conditions are unknown.

The initial investigation shows that all three Ehrhart's were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Bakle was not wearing his seatbelt.

This incident remains under investigation by the Paulding County Sheriff's Office.
