Man Involved In Shooting Sentenced To 23 Years For Aggravated Battery

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (21Alive) -- A plea deal led to sentencing day for a criminal involved in one of last year's murders.

As part of that plea deal, a murder charge was dropped against Jose Lopez. Instead, he received a 23-year sentence for aggravated battery and other charges.

The 23-year-old Lopez, was involved in February 2013 shooting death of 28-year-old Antonia Galvan in a home in the 3,000 block of McDonald Street.
