Marion, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - 130 Marion High School JROTC Cadets faced physical and mental challenges during first ever Field Day.
The Marion Police and Fire Departments, the Indiana National Guard, recruiters from the US Army and US Air Force, and instructors from the ROTC programs at Ball State University and Indiana Wesleyan University hosted the Field Day Competition as a grand finale for the first-year program at Marion High School.
The all-day event is designed to stress the Cadets' leadership skills and ability to work as a part of a team.
