FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – A former Fort Wayne television reporter and current Detroit City Council President is missing.

Detroit's city financial manager told Charles Pugh he could not take a month-long leave of absence and said he should either get back to work at council or resign.

Pugh had until 5:00 Wednesday to comply and did not show up.

Leaders are taking steps to strip Pugh of his salary.

An attorney representing a Detroit family says Pugh had an "inappropriate relationship" with a teenage boy and promised to file suit.

In light of the chaos, two other city council members have stepped-down.
