Fort Wayne, IN (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Emergency crews were called to the banks of the St. Joe River after a woman accidentally drove into the water.

Police say the woman parked her Range Rover on the boat ramp in Johnny Appleseed Park, thought she had the vehicle in drive, but it was actually shifted into reverse.

She was able to swim to shore and was not injured.
