Mother Charged In 4-Week-Old Baby's Death

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The Fort Wayne mother charged with battering her four-week-old girl to death learned she will stand trial this spring.

25-year-old LaDawn Johnson is charged with felony battery leading to death, neglect resulting in death and neglect resulting in bodily injury.

An autopsy determined little Alyssa Johnson died from a skull fracture.

LaDawn Johnson will be back in court for a hearing on March 16th.
