FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - A Fort Wayne mother has pleaded guilty to two felony counts of neglect of a dependent.

Under the plea deal, 25-year-old Shanna Vorndran faces a maximum of six-years in prison.

Prosecutors say she left her two- and one-year-old sons with her boyfriend and his sister, where the children were found to have severe injuries, including a broken leg that wasn't treated for more than 24-hours.

The boyfriend, 26-year-old Michael Combs, is scheduled to stand trial in February for two counts of neglect and a count of battery.

His 30-year-old sister, Anna Hogan is expected to stand trial next week on two counts of neglect of a dependent.
