DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (21Alive) -- A man is injured after losing control of his motorcycle and crashing into a bean field.

DeKalb County Sheriffs say Adam J. Thiel, 25, of Butler, was heading north on CR 61 south of CR 8 when he entered an "S" curve.

On the second curve, authorities say he lost control and ended up into a ditch. The impact caused Thiel to fly about 20 feet into the air and into a bean field.

He was taken to PRMC where he was treated for cuts to his face and then released.

He was wearing a helmet.
