FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) – A Fort Wayne woman, charged with helping kill her roommate's son, was in court Wednesday morning.
31 year old Natasha Hawkins learned she will stand trial for three days in August on seven felony counts.
Court documents claim Hawkins held 2 year old Jezaih King's legs while the boy's mother, 31 year old Latisha Lawson, poured vinegar and olive oil down his throat, leading to his death in November of 2009.
The women said they were performing an exorcism.
The little boy's body was hidden in a closet until police found the remains.
