UNDATED. (www.incnow.tv) – If you’re looking for some relief at the fuel pump you might have to wait a few months.
Gas prices have been steadily rising since the beginning of the month and it appears that trend will continue through spring. The current national average is $3.73 a gallon. A jump of $0.51 since mid December, the $0.09 increase we saw during the holiday weekend alone.
If the trend continues experts say prices could top the all time record of $4.11 a gallon set in 2008. AAA says prices always jump this time of year, but its more dramatic due to the severe snowstorm in the northeast and concerns over Iran’s nuclear efforts.
