Hundreds mingled through Wooden Nickel on North Anthony Blvd. searching for great vinyl deals on National Record Store Day.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) -- The Wooden Nickel was crammed with vinyl lovers in celebration of National Record Store Day 2012 Saturday.

Over 20 bands are scheduled to play throughout the day to get everyone in the music mood. Over 230 of the LP and CD releases are exclusively out and ready for purchase in honor of Record Store Day.

And if you're a real vinyl junkie, the store is giving out 600 goodie bags of LP and CD products from select record companies.

According to Wooden Nickel Music, LP sales were up nationally over 39% in 2011.

The store at 3422 North Anthony Blvd. will be open until 10 p.m. Saturday with the exclusive deals.
