FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Officials at the Fort Wayne International Airport say most people aren't "opting out" of the full-body scans and so far flights have been running smoothly.
Sandi Krakowski of Fort Wayne says, "I personally will opt out. I don't need radiation. I went through radiation through other situations and I personally think it's absurd. I think it's a violation of our freedom."
Brandy Lawson of San Antonio says, “You know what, if they don't want to go through the scans then let's just put them on a separate flight, because I don't want a bomb on mine. So pack them up and ship them out and let the rest of us get through security."
They say so far the security debate hasn't resulted in any delays.
Airport official’s say that's because 75-percent of passengers are business flyers and aren't traveling during the holidays.
