FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - We still have 29-days before the polls open for the 2011 municipal elections but if you want the right to cast a vote you’ll need to be "registered to vote by tomorrow."

The League of Women Voters set up shop at the downtown Fort Wayne library branch Monday, taking registration applications, and providing voting information for folks with questions.

Some residents registering for the first time liken newly registered voter Jamie King.

King said, “I haven't voted, I wanted to make sure that I knew what I was voting for before I voted. So, I think it's time, I'm in my 30's."

Mindy Walker with the League of Women Voters said, “Actually these are the things that hit us every day, day-to-day. Snow removal, trash removal, you know, you name it and sometimes these are things that we're going to notice, even more so than the Presidential election."
