UNDATED (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Will Indiana join seven states, including Ohio, in challenging the White House's birth control policy for religious groups?
The states and several Catholic groups filed a federal lawsuit Thursday claiming the new policy violates religious rights and would force religious institutions to go against their beliefs.
Under a proposed compromise, the rule would require insurers to provide free contraception coverage to women who work at church-affiliated facilities like hospitals and universities.
