COLUMBIA CITY, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – Time to celebrate history in Whitley County. The 100th edition of the Old Settlers Day Festival is underway in Columbia City.

Rides and festival food booths are set-up downtown. Thursday night is wrist-band night for the rides, a special price for all the fun.

It's also an time for non-profits and churches to show the community what they're all about.

“Old settlers Days is a wonderful time for our community to get together to rehash the history of where we were and where we've been and celebrating the future we have in front of us,” Mayor Ryan Daniel said. “A place where people can come and work here and play here and live here.”

The festival runs through Saturday, which will be another wrist-band day, and a big parade is planned that evening at five.
