Overnight Death Becomes Fort Wayne's 10th Homicide

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - We now know the identity of the man found dead early Thursday morning on Fort Wayne’s south east side.

The coroner says 19-year-old Dreshawn Lamond Cooper died from a bullet wound.

His body was discovered lying near a sidewalk at Oliver and Greene streets around 1:30 Thursday morning.

Cooper is the tenth homicide for Fort Wayne and Allen County this year.
