Ohio State Highway Patrol's Van Wert Post was called to a crash on US 24 at County Road 87 in Paulding County Wednesday evening.
According to police reports, Tiffini E. Aldrich, 21, was driving a 1996 GEO Prism northbound on CR 87 when she attempted to cross US 24 and was struck by Roy Pierre, 44, who was driving a semi trailer hauling approximately 33,000 lbs of freight.
Aldrich, who is reportedly 6 months pregnant, was flown to Parkview Hospital and treated for life threatening injuries.
There also was a passenger in the GEO Prism, Kayla A. Bidlack, 30, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
