20-year-old Notre Dame student Declan Sullivan dies after the scissor-lift he was working on collapsed in windy conditions.
(WNDU)
SOUTH BEND, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - The investigation into that deadly scissor lift accident at Notre Dame is now complete.
Despite the strong winds that day university officials say they were using outdated weather reports on October 27th and never saw an updated forecast for wind speeds of 29 miles-per-hour with gusts of 38 miles-per-hour.
20-years-old Declan Sullivan was killed while filming football practice, and the lift toppled.
