FORT WAYNE, Ind. (Indiana’s NewsCenter) - Three candidates have come forward saying they'd like to replace Tim Pape in representing Fort Wayne's 5th City Council District.
One is Headwaters Park Director Geoff Paddock.
Paddock says if elected, he'll work to maintain sound fiscal policy for the city and target new business investment in the "5th".
Former Allen County Councilwoman Maye Johnson and Richard Cline also filed Friday to seek the Democratic nomination for Pape's seat, who announced Thursday he won't run again this year.
