FORT WAYNE, In. (www.incnow.tv) --- Parking fees and fines are likely going up in Fort Wayne.
The Public Safety Board will meet today at 4 P.M. to discuss raising meter fees from $.25 per hour to $.50 per hour. If approved, it will go to City Council for discussion and possible approval, likely in January.
The Fort Wayne City Council meets at 5:30 p.m.. They will be discussing a proposal from the city to raise meter violations from $5 to $10. After 30 days, the fine would go from $10 to $20. This ordinance could receive final approval tonight.
