WABASH COUNTY, Ind. (Indiana's NewsCenter) - Despite a request for a delay from his attorney, convicted Wabash County murderer Scott Pattison will be sentenced later this week, after all.
According to the Chronicle Tribune, the attorney for Scott Pattison asked the judge to postpone the sentencing because he had a scheduling conflict.
But the judge denied the motion.
A jury convicted Pattison earlier this month of killing his wife, Lisa, in July of 2009 by suffocating her with a barbell across her throat.
He's scheduled to be sentenced Friday and faces up to 65-years in prison.
