FORT WAYNE, Ind. (www.incnow.tv) – The Fort Wayne police officer who shot and killed a robbery suspect, will not face charges.
The Allen County Prosecutor says that Officer Jeffrey Burkhold was justified in using deadly force the night of Feb. 20th, when Stephen Wattley II, 21, pointed a weapon in his direction at an apartment complex on Hobson Road following a foot chase.
Police were pursuing Wattley after he allegedly held up a CVS Phamacy.
